TOPIC: FORMING HEALTHY HABITS TO ENRICH YOUR MARRIAGE

KEY BIBLE VERSE: And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”
Mark 11:25 ESV

If I have learned one thing about getting along with my spouse, it is that Jesus treats me the way that my spouse wants to be treated by me.
•••

Your spouse isn’t perfect, and it’s so important to realize that neither are you. It is so easy to forget all the times we’ve messed up, when our spouse messes up once. That’s why it is so important to remember the value of your marriage over the frustration of a moment. Take a minute to remember the way Jesus treats you when you mess up. He doesn’t panic or freak out or yell, He points you back to the Cross and reminds you that He still loves you. It is vital to our marriages to forgive, to remember how much we’ve been forgiven for, and to cling ever so tightly to the example of Jesus when it comes to the way that we treat our spouse. Ask God for guidance and grace when it comes to loving your spouse the way that you are called to. He is willing and able to help you every step of the way!

PLS STAY TUNED FOR CONTINUATION TOMORROW BY GOD'S GRACE

REMEMBER, WE LOVE YOU BUT GOD LOVES YOU MORE, STAY BLESSED, FOCUSED AND BE DETERMINED TO KEEP YOUR HOME BLISSFUL

In the Old Testament, He laid down some laws in order to protect the rights of divorcées, especially women ( Deuteronomy 24:1–4).  Jesus pointed out that these laws were given because of the hardness of people’s hearts, not because such laws were God’s desire (Matthew 19:8). The controversy over whether divorce and remarriage is allowed according to the Bible revolves primarily around Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:32 and 19:9 . The phrase “ except for marital unfaithfulness” is the only thing in Script...

When the case was called in court she started weeping. Her husband, family and friends who accompanied her started weeping but there was no hope. But something happened. Before the lady could stand in the witness box a man stood up and the court room was silent. Everyone looked at Him. He was noble and gentle. He stood in the witness box and interceded on behalf of the woman. The case was difficult, yet He used all His strength, energy and resources to fight on behalf of the woman.
