Parenting Tips: Important Hints On Children Upbringing

PARENTING TIPS! ~  CHILDREN UPBRINGING

A child is someone who is not an adult and so he/she is strongly influenced by the ideas and attitudes of a particular time or person..
The word CHILDREN means:

COURAGE/CONSENT:
Its very important as a parent or guardian to always seek your child's opinion especially in things that concerns them.. Sometimes let them take certain decisions in d family..ask them what they want for breakfast,lunch,dinner..If they make choices that you can't keep up to find a way to convince them to buy your own opinion..NEVER FORCE AN OPINION ON A CHILD CONVINCE THEM THAT YOUR OWN OPINION IS THE BEST..for instance..
Jim's classmate mark had a toy car and a wrist watch as a present 🎁 for Christmas..Mark showed Jim his present them Jim's started requesting for his own Christmas present..meanwhile Jim parents can not afford it..

As a parents what will you do??
Listen to this
Jim:dad Mark's daddy got him a present for Christmas I want a present too
Dad:common shut up longer throat must you have everything??be content with what you have❌❌❌❌❌wrong!!!
Dad:Ok I will get you a present but that means no chicken for Christmas and no cartoons because I only have money for just one thing so choose between eating rice and chicken on Christmas/watching cartoon or buying u a present??✔✔✔✔✔
Here you have already given the child a choice to make and you have his/her consent to either but d gift or buy chicken for Christmas..
Children will always be children..

HONEST:
Honesty means being truthful and just..control certain things you do in front of your children..when I finish secondary I decided to teach in a nursery sch..I learnt a lot from there..what you say in front of your children matters a lot..I discovered that children catch things fast..no child is dull..everything depends on d guardian..the conduct of a sheep depends on d shepherd..I was teaching my kids in church one-day on sin..so I listed lying as a sin.so we where saying something one of them raised her hand that she wanted to talk I ask her to go ahead:..'teach whenever mama chike comes to our house my mummy will ask me to tell her she's not around while she is around is it a sin??
I was short of words..I had to tell her d truth...Try and be honest before your kids..let them know d importance of being honest..

INTELLIGENCE:
Children are naturally intelligent no child is failure everything depends on their environment..a child of 1-5yrs learn faster through what they see..I was teaching nursery 3 class then so one-day I wanted to take them on the birth of Jesus christ..I was reading the stuff for them to learn it they couldn't..so I tried using a song to teach them and it worked..Know you child's IQ..Even if hes 12yrs and still can't read use elementary method of learning on him..I had a friend in secondary school then everybody have already given up on him..he was so rough..too playful.. unconcerned..His parents where forcing him to go to Sch..So I get angry whenever they use him as an example of a dumb child..so I had to approach him and ask him what the problem was he opened up and told me his parents where illiterates no educated person in the family..so when they teach in class he understand but can't learn at home because he can't read and had nobody to teach him that he's even ashamed to tell people he can't read..so I had to volunteer to start teaching him and I used d word WO-MAN to teach him how to read..It worked and now he can read well...don't ever write any child of..
Try and change environment for the child if his not doing well in the present environment because environment matters a lot in children up bring..

N.B:The chromosomes contains 20,000-25,000 genes..every normal human cell contains 23  pair of chromosomes for a total of 46..Genetically children carry more of their mother's genes.Thats because of little organelles that live within your cells d mitochondria which they only receive from mothers..
Research shows it that women are more likely to transmit intelligence genes to their children

LOVELY/LIVELY:
Children are generally lovely..the bible says that heaven belongs to children...No child is dull...Children are naturally lively because nothing bothers them😄

DEVELOPMENT:
There are many stages of developmental stages in children..from 0-5yrs learn more from what they see and hear..
5-10yrs this category their attitude lies on environment and peer group..at this stage it's important you start teaching certain things about life and let them no life is not easy..when I was little my mom told me that whenever a man calls me on the road I should not answer I should run..up till now if am walking on the road and a guy calls me I won't answer if I don't know u🤷..it has become part of me because that's what I learnt when I was little..

RESPONSIBILITY:
Try and assign responsibility to your child no matter how small the child maybe.Ask them to write list of what to buy..ask them to take care of something..I use to tell myself that if I happen to get married to a very wealth man no matter chow wealth he is all my children will have a bucket of water according to their size every Saturday I will take them outside to fetch water..so they will learn that this life e no easy at all..Give them task daily to do..if possible write a time table and paste for them to follow..it will help in their time management ability

EMOTION:
Avoid using harsh word on your children like 'URE stupid',dullard...and so on..if they offend you bless them not curse them because your words have effect on them..Never have issues with your spouse or fight with anybody in their presence it affects the child's mood..Correct them with love..And always change the punishment you give a child. If u keep giving a child one type of punishment he adapts to it..
I noticed that in school when you ask a child a question and he fails it he brings out his hand without you asking him..So try and change the type of punishment you give them don't always flog them..sometimes disconnect the television for sometime or no indomie for 1week...Deny them something they love so much as punishment sometimes..let them not be able to predict the punishment you will give them. But avoid raising your voice so much on a child..

NAUGHTY:
Children as normally naughty..expect them to spoil things ..is normal...why not sometimes when they do something wrong tell them how much you love them, buy them gifts then sit them down and caution them..give them examples of people who did that and what happened to them..Try to an extent to creat fear of doing the wrong thing in them..

Lastly..teach your kids how to pray no matter how small they are...get them a bible...A lot of parents don't buy bible for their kids with excuse that they can't read..just give them the bible..They will learn..
God has given every woman the capability to build and train children..so you can do it..That child can still change...
Do your best and leave the rest for God..
Training a child is not just the responsibility of a woman..It's the responsibility of the family...

Marriage Series 7: What Does The Bible Say About Divorce and Remarriage?

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT DIVORCE AND REMARRIAGE? First of all, no matter what view one takes on the issue of divorce, it is important to remember Malachi 2:16, “I hate divorce, says the LORD God of Israel.” According to the Bible, marriage is a lifetime commitment. “So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate” (Matthew 19:6). God realizes, though, that, since marriages involve two sinful human beings, divorces are going to occur. In the Old Testament, He laid down some laws in order to protect the rights of divorcées, especially women ( Deuteronomy 24:1–4).  Jesus pointed out that these laws were given because of the hardness of people’s hearts, not because such laws were God’s desire (Matthew 19:8). The controversy over whether divorce and remarriage is allowed according to the Bible revolves primarily around Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:32 and 19:9 . The phrase “ except for marital unfaithfulness” is the only thing in Script...

Life Matters Nuggets

WHO ARE YOU? A lady committed a crime and she was sent to court. The punishment for the crime was life imprisonment. She shed tears for help but to no avail. When the case was called in court she started weeping. Her husband, family and friends who accompanied her started weeping but there was no hope. But something happened. Before the lady could stand in the witness box a man stood up and the court room was silent. Everyone looked at Him. He was noble and gentle. He stood in the witness box and interceded on behalf of the woman. The case was difficult, yet He used all His strength, energy and resources to fight on behalf of the woman. After a long legal battle between the man and the accusers, the lady was set free. The lady fell before the man and asked *'WHO ARE YOU'*  The next day the lady deliberately committed another crime and was sent to the same court.  As soon as she entered the courtroom, she saw the man who interceded for her the previous day on the judgement seat...
