Relationship Gist: QUALITIES TO LOOK OUT FOR BEFORE YOU SAY I DO

STRICTLY FOR LADIES

QUALITIES TO LOOK OUT FOR IN A MAN BEFORE MARRIAGE

H - Honour
Marry a Man who Respects and honours you as the most important Woman in his life.

U ~ Understanding
Marry a Man who can pay the price to Understand You, not one who tolerates you and is ashamed of you!

S ~ Support
Marry a Man who believes in you so much and supports you to become the Best in all that you do. Avoid marrying a Man who envies you and is afraid of you being better than him in life! God created the Woman to be a HELPER to the Man, not a liability!

B ~ Build
Marry a Man who has capacity to build up your faith, character, talent, career and self esteem, not one who tears you down with unnecessary criticisms and does not see any thing good in you!
Don't marry any Man who feels he is doing you a favour by getting married to you.
There is a big difference between *Will you Marry Me?* and *NNE, I want to marry You!*
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

A ~ Adorn
To adorn means to decorate, to crown you as his Queen, to beautify and to coronate.
Don't marry a stingy Man who cannot spend his time and money to invest in you and to beautify you as a person.
If a Man cannot adorn you, then he definitely cannot adore you in Marriage!

N ~ NOURISHMENT

Don't marry any Man who does not nourish your Spirit, Soul and Body.
Nourishment is the ability to meet you sorrowful and moody and make you joyful and laughing again!
It is the capacity to provide your daily needs, emotionally, physically, Spiritually, financially, intellectually, Socially, etc without complaining and without insulting you as a Woman!

D ~ DEFEND
Marry a Man who can defend you in public even when you are wrong! Avoid any Man who ridicules and insults you at will especially in the presence of others. That's a sign of a Man who is ashamed of you.
When a Man truly loves you, He defends you and secures you even from the insults of his friends and family!

These are qualities you should look out for in a Man for Marriage, not the size of his pocket, his mansion, his fleet of cars or the size of his Manhood!

May God grant you SENSE to apply in Jesus name!

Marriage Series 7: What Does The Bible Say About Divorce and Remarriage?

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT DIVORCE AND REMARRIAGE? First of all, no matter what view one takes on the issue of divorce, it is important to remember Malachi 2:16, “I hate divorce, says the LORD God of Israel.” According to the Bible, marriage is a lifetime commitment. “So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate” (Matthew 19:6). God realizes, though, that, since marriages involve two sinful human beings, divorces are going to occur. In the Old Testament, He laid down some laws in order to protect the rights of divorcées, especially women ( Deuteronomy 24:1–4).  Jesus pointed out that these laws were given because of the hardness of people’s hearts, not because such laws were God’s desire (Matthew 19:8). The controversy over whether divorce and remarriage is allowed according to the Bible revolves primarily around Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:32 and 19:9 . The phrase “ except for marital unfaithfulness” is the only thing in Script...

Life Matters Nuggets

WHO ARE YOU? A lady committed a crime and she was sent to court. The punishment for the crime was life imprisonment. She shed tears for help but to no avail. When the case was called in court she started weeping. Her husband, family and friends who accompanied her started weeping but there was no hope. But something happened. Before the lady could stand in the witness box a man stood up and the court room was silent. Everyone looked at Him. He was noble and gentle. He stood in the witness box and interceded on behalf of the woman. The case was difficult, yet He used all His strength, energy and resources to fight on behalf of the woman. After a long legal battle between the man and the accusers, the lady was set free. The lady fell before the man and asked *'WHO ARE YOU'*  The next day the lady deliberately committed another crime and was sent to the same court.  As soon as she entered the courtroom, she saw the man who interceded for her the previous day on the judgement seat...
