Factors That Cause Delay in Marriage for Single Ladies/Guys!
In our contemporary society, it is very common to come across many matured ladies who are overdue for marriage but yet are still single and searching. Therefore, spinster is a term referring to an unmarried woman who is older than what is perceived as the prime age range during which women usually marry.
Online dating sites, religious worship centers and many social media networks are usually full of these depressed and desperately searching ladies. What is generally responsible for this rampant anomaly? Below are the prevalent 8 negative spirits or unpleasant factors that are responsible for delay in marriage for many searching spinsters or single guys in some cases.
1.Boyfriend/Girlfriend Illusion!
The last thing on a boy's mind is marriage. Boys don't think of early marriage because they want to make money first. Therefore, they enter into relationship just for fun and regular romping. That is why if the lady should get pregnant, they ask her to abort it, or they will deny her, because they aren't ready for marriage.
If you are a single lady and living together with a single guy who is “browsing” you for free with the password of: "I will marry you." You are like the fairy tale "Alice in Wonderland."
If you are sincerely ready for marriage as a single lady, stop dating boys. Boyfriends will keep scaring away serious and well-meaning suitors because they will be thinking that the boyfriend that always hangs around you actually wants to marry you.
2.Engagement Ring Shackles!
This is that negative factor or habitual tendency that makes a single lady to keep raising her ringed finger to show the world that one handsome man who is based in Dubai (UAE), Canada, UK or USA engaged her.
When the serious suitors in her country that are ready to settle down see the engagement ring on her finger, they will pass over her because the engagement ring tells them she have been taken. However, after many years, time is going and her foreign based prospect isn't saying anything again. Anytime she calls his phone number, the line is always unreachable or switched off!
The engagement ring have started to rust on her finger in protest. Many engagement rings are actually handcuffs, some are not better than key holders. Aunty, refuse to be Queen of the Rings!
3.Hard To Get Syndrome!
As a single lady, this pervasive negative spirit tells you not to accept a marriage proposal from a man in a hurry, to do plenty unnecessary “hard to get” games so that the brother will not think you are cheap or desperate.
It tells you to tell him to give you nine months to pray, don't pick his calls, ignore his WhatsApp messages, behave as if you are not interested even though you are dying on the inside and truly love the brother.
This negative spirit will not leave you until you hear the brother is getting married to another sister, then your eyes will open and you will start saying "can't he even wait for me?"
Wait for you? Because you are a chaste virgin? Aunty, if you truly love a serious brother and you perceive he is God's will for you accept his marriage proposal. Stop procrastinating!
4.Proud Spirit Attitude!
As a single lady, this is that foul spirit that tells you to always talk to brothers anyhow because you are beautiful, highly educated and anointed. That negative spirit that tells you that every brother that greets you is not your class, so you keep ignoring and looking down on them.
That proud spirit that doesn't allow you to greet brothers except those that ride exotic cars or expensive SUVs. Aunty, calm down and be humble. You won't marry yourself oh!
5. Denominational/Tribal Spirit!
Some searching ladies are very picky when it comes to relationship. Some will say: "I am a Catholic and must marry a Catholic so that our marriage will be sanctified."
"I am a Deeper Lifer and must marry one who is a Deeper Lifer as well so that our marriage will be deep."
"I am a Redeemer and must marry a Redeemer at all cost, any other brother isn't redeemed." Really, even if God is leading you to him?
"I am from Rivers State and must definitely marry from Rivers." Okay, search very well on Google!
This denominational/tribal spirit has kept many ladies bound for several years due to fruitless searching for compatible partners. Some of them have reached menopause because of their advanced age.
Aunty, understand that all true believers are brethren-in Christ. If God is leading you to another denomination or tribe, kindly obey Him. Stop delaying yourself!
6.Bad or Repulsive Character!
The character of some ladies is very shocking! They will open their mouths to insult someone disdainfully and you will cry for the person. They quarrel and fight wildly in public, no shame, no self-respect and no dignity.
Their pride, arrogance and attitudes are making all the eligible bachelors to run for cover or flee from them like ants running away from raging fire.
This repulsive spirit has kept some ladies perpetually single. By the time any man gets close because of her beautiful appearance, her bad character will chase him away. Aunty, this year, work on your character. Change sincerely and your date will be fixed this year in Jesus name.
7.Poor Dress Sense!
This is that tendency that prompts you not to dress well because of religious piety. It may be responsible for the marital delay of some searching ladies. How? You dress shabbily and add 10 years to your real age. You dress anyhow and you look like grandma.
You dress always like an elderly woman and brothers will be greeting you "Good afternoon Ma." "Yes Ma." "Thank you Ma." You prefer to use tarpaulin to sew your dress, wear green skirt, yellow blouse and lemon head tie.
You are a lady but often dress like a man. Sister, no man wants to marry his fellow man. Dress well, don't under dress and don't over dress. Dress modestly always.

8.Spiritual Problem/Bondage!
This is for real and general, therefore single ladies/guys should be prayerful always. There are some single ladies/guys whose marriages have been hijacked in spirit realms and only fervent prayers and God can break such yokes.
There are some single ladies whose wedding gowns have been stolen in the spirit realm and it is only God that can help to recover them.
There are some single ladies/guys who are operating under evil family pattern and curses, it is only God that can set them free. There are some single ladies that have been married with children in the marine spirit realm, it is only God that can deliver them.
By God's grace, as a single lady/guy, you will not fall into the traps of your enemies in Jesus name. Remain grateful to God, graceful and prayerful always. All will be well. Don’t give up, your time to celebrate & testify will surely come in Jesus name.
